This seismogram is broadband vertical (bhz) earth velocity detected by a Guralp CMG3-TD seismometer in the OGS waklk-in underground vault near Leonard. The signal was digitized 20 times per second. The expected P, S and LR (Rayleigh) arrivals are clear, as is Lg, a surface wave which travels across only paths entirely in continental structure. The epicenter was 2604 kilometers/1618 miles (great circle) from Leonard.
